Q. Is Student Travel Tours a bonded operator and is my money safe?

A. Yes. We are a member of the Travel Trust Association (Membership No. U6517) and adhere to all DTI regulations. Any money paid to Student Travel Tours is held in a trustee account, and cannot be accessed by Student Travel Tours until your safe return. This means that your money is safely returned to you if for whatever unlikely reason we are unable to deliver the services for which you paid.

Q. Do I have to be 18 to go on a trip?

A. You do not have to be 18 to go on this trip, although you should be over 16 and you should observe local drinking laws. Student Travel Tours Ltd will not be held responsible for any issue caused by irresponsible or underage consumption of alcohol.


Q. How can my friends and I make sure we get a place?

A. By joining the facebook group for each trip, you will be the first to hear about the opening date for bookings, and can therefore book your place within minutes of the booking page opening.

Q. What is included in the breakfasts?

A. Breakfast is always self service continental breakfast including bread, preserves and tea. Please check to see if your trip includes breakfasts. The ski trips do not.

Q. What is the cancellation policy?

A. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions which can be accessed from the 'About Usl' section of this website.

Q. Do I have to pay a fee to have someone take my place?

A. No. If you need to cancel and you can find someone to take yuour place then this is fine. We believe that it makes no sense for companies to charge an 'administration fee' for a name change, since it requires only 10 seconds of our time to change the name of a booking. Student Travel Tours Ltd is run for students, by students; we will not charge administration fees for things like this.

Q. I am an international student, without a British or EU passport. Do I require a visa?

A. Yes. Check the pages of the website for your specific trip for details.

Q. Do I need insurance?

A. Yes. You should always travel with your own comprehensive travel insurance. Click on the Insurance tab above to find out more.
