Tignes is served by the large well linked ski area called L'Espace Killy. Tignes shares the L'Espace Killy with Val d'Isere and with over 300km (190 miles) of pistes 150 shops, 115 bars, numerous ski schools, 1500+ staff & extensive off-piste it has become one of Europe's premier resorts.

L'Espace Killy is known for its incredible off-piste with good lift access. Also there is a half pipe, boardercross course, some great freeriding & the 1992 Olympics downhill course should you be feeling up for it.

Tignes Val Claret has got something for everyone; backcountry riders, avid freestylers, casual skiers and boarders, outright beginners and relentless party animals. If you and your mates fit into any of the above categories, you'll have a brilliant time in Tignes!

  Combining two popular resorts Risoul and Vars, La Foret Blanche provides outstanding views with some of the most expansive skiing in France. A whole range of pistes to suit every level of experience, pistes range from 1850m to 2750m above sea level. Your lift pass will be valid for the entire area.

Those in the know refer to Risoul as a hidden gem for advanced skiers and snowboarders. Risoul boasts a good snow record and the off-piste opportunities are plentiful, especially in the lower wooded areas and the higher snow bowls.

Novices and complete beginners will also find themselves extremely well catered for, as the lower slopes around the resort center make for brilliant runs to practice your technique.
