Breakout Ski Easter is our biggest and best trip of the year. Party with hundreds of Breakout skiers and boarders as we take over the fantastic resort of Risoul for a week of fantastic spring skiing. Our Easter trips to Risoul have been hugely popular over the last 2 years, and in both years we've enjoyed loads of fresh powder snow and great sun tanning weather throughout the week. For prime time spring skiing in such a great resort, this trip is an absolute bargain, at £295 for advance bookings including return travel, slope-side accommodation, a lift pass for the entire ski area, 40% drink discounts in resort and dedicated Breakout Ski reps every step of the way! Breakout Ski is for everyone from any university or college, and non-students too. There's no need to be a member of your university club and you don't need to have any experience skiing.

			Risoul is the perfect resort for Breakout Ski as it's great for everyone. Die hard snow fanatics will find plenty of great runs and powder bowls across Risoul and the neighbouring resort of Vars (see the 'Risoul' tab above for more info), whilst those who have more experience with pints than they do with a pair of skis will also find themselves well catered for! Combining two popular resorts Risoul and Vars, La Foret Blanche provides outstanding views with some of the most expansive skiing in France. A whole range of pistes to suit every level of experience, pistes range from 1850m to 2750m above sea level. Your lift pass will be valid for the entire area.

Those in the know refer to Risoul as a hidden gem for advanced skiers and snowboarders. Risoul boasts a good snow record and the off-piste opportunities are plentiful, especially in the lower wooded areas and the higher snow bowls.

Novices and complete beginners will also find themselves extremely well catered for, as the lower slopes around the resort center make for brilliant runs to practice your technique.

When you arrive in resort you'll receive information about the weeks events and parties, but if you'd prefer to go off and do your own thing then you'll find plenty of bars around the resort.

For those with more energy to exert after a day on the mountain, Risoul also has an ice rink for evening skating.

Spring skiing means great apres ski weather, and your apartments are situated directly above one of the hippest outdoor apres-ski spots in Risoul. You'll be able to sink a few beers in the sun, whilst you watch the best skiers and boarders on the trip competing in our big air/freestyle competition on a ski jump built right in front of the bars and accommodation block.

Support and advice of dedicated Breakout Ski reps. All that is required at the time of booking is a £50 deposit. The remainder of the balance is payable at least 6 weeks prior to departure. 			You'll be staying in well equipped 4,6 or 8 man apartments with the friends you choose, in an accommodation block overlooking the pistes in the centre of the resort. The image to the left shows the block which you will be staying in. There is direct access to the pistes from the ground floor ski lockers. Local amenities: Supermarket (directly below apartments) Ski hire shop (directly below apartments) Apres Ski Bars (directly below apartments) Restaurants and Nightclubs (50-100m) ESF Ski School (100m) Medical centre (50m)

The apartments include a kitchen complete with a fridge, freezer, microwave and hobs. Each apartment has dining and social areas, one or two bathrooms and a balcony. There is also a ski locker room and wifi facilities are available. A shared swimming pool may be available for your use during the week. You will be housed in an apartment with your friends. If there are not enough of you to make up a whole apartment then you may be asked to share with others from the trip.

Departure: Friday 21:00 (approx. time -TBC 4 weeks before departure) Location: London Victoria Coach Station Your Breakout Ski trip includes return travel from London, and travel from Edinburgh and Manchester is available as an added option for £30. Coaches will leave London Victoria on the Friday evening and will travel overnight via the Dover-Calais ferry crossing. The coaches are all modern, luxury coaches with toilets, reclining seats and DVD players. You can be sure that you'll have a comfortable and relaxing night's sleep, and wake up in the morning in the Alps! The coach will travel back through the night on Friday night to arrive back at London Victoria Coach Station in the morning on Saturday. The exact coach departure times will be finalised 4 weeks prior to departure. You may opt out of the travel option and arrange your own transport to and from the resort, arriving at any point during the week (£30 discount on the package price; earliest arrival: 5pm Saturday). For flights to the Alps check Lyon, Chambery, Grenoble, Marseille and Nice. Bear in mind that onward train travel/transfers can be expensive. The coach will carry your own skis/snowboard for a fee or £10, but you must book this service at the point of booking your trip as luggage space is limited.

Lessons are optional but are available for all levels of ability. Lessons typically last for 2 hours per day in the morning or the afternoon and continue for 3 or 5 days. You can book lessons through our booking page at these preferential rates:
